Castle Garden Oud-Valkenburg is a native garden and herb garden featuring the historic watermill "Sjloensmeule."
“Castle Garden Oud-Valkenburg” is a native park located in the shadow of Castle Schaloen.
A green oasis within the landscape of the Castles of East Valkenburg and the forests of Schaelsberg, St. Jansbos, Biebosch, Oombos, and Gerendal.
The park features a native garden, a traditional Dutch herb garden, and the historic watermill “Sjoensmeule.”
IVN Valkenburg, with the help of its volunteers, is responsible for its maintenance and for opening it to visitors.
Castle Garden Oud-Valkenburg has also been recognized as an educational center, appreciated by various target groups.

Dogs
Dogs are not allowed, except for guide dogs for the visually impaired.
There is an option to leave your dog at the entrance.

A limited number of parking spaces are available on the driveway and in front of Castle Schaloen.
